Founding Engineer

Equity only Part-time → full-time at seed Utah preferred

We have a working product — a compliance platform used by real companies — and we need someone to help us take it further. The stack is Node/Supabase/Stripe/Claude. You'd be building with Ethan directly, seeing customer feedback firsthand, and deciding what ships next.

The work

  • AI-driven evidence collection, policy generation, and framework crosswalks
  • Scanner pipeline (website + GitHub repos) — expand checks, improve accuracy
  • Auditor portal, Trust Center, customer onboarding
  • Whatever the next customer needs

Good fit if

  • You've shipped full-stack products before, ideally at an early-stage company
  • You've used LLMs in production — you know the sharp edges
  • You have some context on GRC or security, even if it's just "I've been through a SOC 2"
  • Utah-based is ideal; remote works for the right person

Compensation

Equity only and part-time until we close our seed round, at which point this becomes a salaried full-time role. Founding-engineer equity package — we'll discuss the specifics in the first conversation.
